WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Client Delivery and Relationship Support

• Act as a day-to-day contact for assigned clients, developing professional and trusted working relationships.
• Participate in and, where appropriate, lead client meetings to discuss financial performance, reporting and analysis.
• Prepare and present monthly reporting packs, clearly explaining financial results, variances and key business drivers.
• Respond to client requests and follow through on issues to ensure timely and accurate resolution.
• Identify potential financial risks, issues and opportunities and escalate matters appropriately to senior team members.
• Take ownership of complex or ambiguous requests, work through the available information and develop a clear, supportable answer with limited guidance.

Financial Management and Reporting

• Support and, where assigned, take ownership of the month-end financial close process, including journals, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Review financial information and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness before client delivery.
• Investigate financial anomalies and discrepancies, identify root causes and coordinate appropriate resolution.
• Prepare management reports and financial analysis for client review.
• Assist with bookkeeping and transactional accounting activities where required.

Analysis, Planning and Business Partnering

• Build and maintain budgets, forecasts and three-way financial models for assigned clients.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis using advanced Excel and Power Query, translating findings into clear and commercially relevant insights.
• Support client management with financial analysis relating to pricing, cost structures, resource allocation and business performance.
• Identify trends, variances and financial drivers and communicate their implications to non-finance stakeholders.
• Build and maintain client reporting dashboards, including Power BI reports where appropriate.
• Contribute financial insights to support client decision-making and business planning.

AI-Assisted Delivery and Continuous Improvement

• Use AI-assisted delivery tools as part of daily work, including financial analysis, drafting, review, quality control and research.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial processes.
• Develop repeatable workflows, templates and internal tools that improve delivery quality and productivity.
• Explore AI-assisted development tools to support the creation of reporting solutions, client-facing tools and workflow improvements.
• Contribute to improvements in data processes to enhance the quality, consistency and timeliness of reporting.
• Work closely with Australia-based team members and clients across different time zones.

Measures of Success

• Assigned client deliverables are completed accurately, on time and to the required standard.
• Clients receive clear, commercially useful financial reporting and analysis.
• Client requests are handled with appropriate ownership, responsiveness and follow-through.
• Financial issues and anomalies are identified, investigated and resolved to root cause.
• Complex assignments can be completed with limited guidance and produce accurate, supportable outcomes.
• Demonstrable improvements in productivity, quality or efficiency are achieved through AI-assisted tools, automation and process improvement.
• The role holder builds strong working relationships with clients and becomes a reliable point of contact for assigned matters.
• The role holder progressively takes on greater responsibility across client delivery and financial analysis.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

Must have:

• Bachelor‘s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in accounting, management accounting, financial management or a related finance role.
• Fluent written and spoken English, with the confidence to engage directly with Australian clients, participate in client meetings and clearly communicate financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience working with clients or employers based in Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom or a comparable Western market.
• Advanced capability in management accounting, financial management, budgeting, forecasting and three-way financial modelling.
• Advanced Excel skills, with strong hands-on experience using Power Query and Power BI for financial analysis and reporting.
• Hands-on professional experience using AI-assisted tools, such as Claude, to support analysis, research, drafting, review and quality control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through complex financial issues independently.
• A high degree of ownership, attention to detail and follow-through, with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities. 

Nice to have:

• Professional accounting qualification or progress toward one — CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent.
  Sound understanding of Western business culture and professional communication norms, particularly Australian and US business environments.
• Experience in client-facing financial services, accounting advisory, outsourced accounting or a similar environment.
• Experience using cloud-based accounting systems such as Xero.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools, such as Lovable, to build internal tools, workflows, automations or reporting solutions.
• Commercial mindset, with the ability to connect financial information to business performance and decision-making.
• Curiosity and adaptability, with a genuine interest in using technology and AI to improve the way financial work is delivered.
• Comfortable working autonomously across time zones. 

WORK LOCATION: 159C De Tham, Cau Ong Lanh Ward, HCMC 

WORKING HOURS: 7AM-4PM (Mon-Fri)
