POSITION: ACCOUNTING DEPUTY TEAM LEAD

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Perform regular reconciliations of bank and accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Compile and prepare financial reports, assisting in management reports or internal reporting as needed.
• Record and monitor fixed assets, prepare depreciation schedules, and manage disposals when applicable.
• Provide support during audits, including forecasting and internal controls, and help implement and monitor internal control processes to reduce errors and fraud.
• Conduct internal audits of team members’ tasks to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Supervise team members, providing guidance and support, and present findings or reports to groups as necessary.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions to prepare performance reports and assist team members as required.
• Familiarity with ERP accounting software to streamline accounting processes.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for a Team Lead (Accounting Service) with excellent communication and team management skills to join our accounting service team. This position requires a sound knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles and practices. This position should have an aptitude for numbers, attention to details, and lead by example. They must have a desire to help clients with their accounting process, help the team achieve their potential, and to spark progress within the organizations we serve.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a General Accountant.
• Fluent in English, with strong communication skills to effectively interact with onshore teams.
• Proficient in advanced Excel functions and familiar with ERP accounting software.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and present to team members.
